Dear devotees,

The scientific method is extremely flawed. Recent research indicates that many researchers reject research that doesn’t prove what they want to prove. However, the first findings that researchers discover are rarely or slowly abandoned, as the researchers have a vested interest in proving what they want to prove. In sum, don’t take science too seriously, and continue to chant the holy names and taking maha-prasadam made with a wide variety of lacto-vegetarian offerable foodstuffs. In regards to prescription and over-the-counter medicine, I would speak with knowledgeable doctors before quitting. If you can find a natural or ayurvedic alternative that’s fine, but make sure you’re not getting hoodwinked.

I’ve always had very fond memoires of HH Prahladananda Swami Mahraja. The last time I met up with him was on Navadvipa parikrama 2003.

He’s a great preacher and sweet soul. I bow down to his lotus feet again and again and again….

Our inspiration in devotional service is the instructions coming from Srila Prabhupada. We are all servants of Lord Krishna working in disciplic succession to revive our eternal relationship with the Supreme Lord and His servants. There are undoubtedly some problems in Srila Prabhupada’s movement, so we should try to become more Krishna conscious. If we become better instruments for Srila Prabhupada and Lord Sri Krishna can help us correct some of the problems and create the ISKCON that Srila Prabhupada desired.
